After losing my husband, I received many sympathy  cards from friends and family.  Then every few weeks, I would receive cards from people just checking in on me.  They meant so much to me. Such a simple act but was so impactful. I am reminded of the power of connection, especially through the simplest gestures.

A card are more than just a card; it's a hug in an envelope, a reminder that you're not alone, and a nudge that someone is  thinking of you.

During difficult times, it is not always easy to know what to say. I have made a Free Sentiment Guide with suggestions when you are sending a sympathy card plus sentiments for checking in on someone who has lost a loved one or going through a difficult time.

The Maudie Cowl

This cowl pattern is named after my mother in law who taught me to knit.  As I am starting to create some patterns, I thought her name was perfect.

This can be worked in three colors as written, using up scrap yarn, or maybe a single color or many colors!  The pattern is for you to make your own.

Please share your versions with me either by email - contactme@anntudor.com or on social media by tagging @anntudorllc.  I would love to see what you create!
