About Me

I've always made things.

Before I had words for it, before I knew it was "art", it was just something I did. My hands were busy, my eyes were looking closely, and I was paying attention to color, shape and feeling.

My creative life has moved through many chapters - jewelry, glass, fiber, drawing, painting. Each one taught me something about patience, curiosity and trusting what wants to come forward.

The work I make now comes from a quiet place.

It's intuitive. Layers. Sometimes bold, sometimes very soft. I don't start with a plan. I respond. I follow. I let the piece tell me where it's going.

The florals are full of color and life. They feel bright and expansive.

The portraits show up and guide me where they want to go. I follow their expression more than I define it.

Both are true to me and both belong.

What matters most is the art feels alive - not perfect, not polished, not overly explained. Just real. Something you can live with. Something that connects.

If my work speaks to you, it's likely because it reflects something you already carry.

I’m also known in the knitting community as for knitting.
That part of my creative life grew from the same love of color, texture, and making with my hands.
It’s still part of who I am — it just lives alongside the artwork now.

A side-by-side relationship, not a rebrand or a goodbye.

No drama.
No announcement.
No distancing.
Just integration with clarity where everything knitting can be found in The Knitting Tudor section.

I'm glad you are here.
