The Story of AJ
These past few weeks have been filled with sorting, donating, packing and then there was the Indy 500! Fabulous time but I have not had time to do much art at all! So I got out my colored pencils and a new type of paper that I had been wanting to try for pet portraits and sat down to draw! This is the result!

This is AJ and he is a much beloved pet of a friend. Mark and I met him just a few days before Mark passed. We were going to a Indy 500 Race party and as we walked up to the house, we noticed this little guy standing by himself on the sidewalk. He went right into Mark's arms and we took him inside. I think he was looking for his owner because she was gone at the time. He stayed with Mark pretty much the rest of the time we were there. It seemed fitting to draw AJ now as we are approaching two years without Mark.
So this little one means alot to me on many different levels.
After the move is completed, I will be opening up commissions for pet portraits. If you are interested, make sure and get on the email list so you can reserve your spot!

Love little AJ. He is a special pup. I’d love to get on your list for pet portraits.
