A Little Light in the Mailbox
A little over a week ago, it was my birthday. I had planned to celebrate, but instead, I found myself stuck at home with a stomach flu. Needless to say, the festivities were postponed.
But something small and lovely happened that turned things around—birthday cards arrived in the mail. Those handwritten notes and kind words brought so much joy in the middle of a rough week. It reminded me just how powerful a simple card can be.
