Another Sweater Off the Needles!

Do you ever just want to clear out your unfinished projects and get them done!  Well that is the mood I have been in lately.  As you see from the previous couple posts, I steeked the Turtle Dove sweater changing it from a pullover to a cardigan!  I am thrilled with the end result!   Next on the list is the Guthrie Sweater.

The Guthrie Sweater by Caitlin Hunter is so much fun to knit and I have enjoyed every stitch!  I think that is why I let the second sleeve languish for a few weeks, I just did not want it to end.

I used Stonehedge FIber Mill's Shepherd's Wool Worsted for the background in their Harvest Wheat colorway and the colorwork was Spincycle DreamState in their Shades of Earth colorway.  The pattern is written for DK but I used the worsted instead.

I am thrilled with the final product! I still have to block it and weave the ends but it is done!  Now to wait until it is cold enough again to wear it!

Hello, looks like someone has already asked my question, but I would love to know the answer. Since you used worsted weight what size needle gave you the correct gauge? Also, did you knit a size smaller or where you looking for the oversized bulky fit? Love the extension on the ribbed neckline. Fives it a cozy feel. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!
